About CCCR

Our Mission - Chaos Company Crisis Response exists to support veterans in crisis through real-time peer intervention, community connection, and boots-on-the-ground action.

Who We Are - The Founder, Dylan Wells, a combat veteran and firefighter is currently working to build a volunteer team of veterans that respond to Veterans in crisis.

Why We Care - After losing his life-long friend and fellow combat veteran James Benson to suicide in 2017, Dylan Wells—a veteran and first responder—envisioned a crisis response team grounded in brotherhood and action. Years later, he launched Chaos Company, which reignited that vision and led to the creation of Chaos Company Crisis Response (CCCR). Today, CCCR is a veteran-led initiative providing real-time, peer-based support to veterans in crisis, starting in Dayton and growing from there.

How We Help - We respond to veterans in crisis or those simply needing someone to talk to, focusing first on de-escalation and immediate support. From there, we connect them to mental health services and stay involved to ensure follow-up and continued care.

Volunteer - If your interested in joining our team or volunteering for outreach, visit our “Contact Us” page and fill out our form.

We’re not a hotline. We’re not a call center. We’re trained veterans showing up for other veterans in a mental health crisis.
